Health and Physical Education Subtests 1 and 2 (112–113)

NOTE: Both subtests (112 and 113) and a Professional Knowledge and Skills test (117, 121, 135, 136) are required to obtain the Health and Physical Education (MC) endorsement. Any questions about testing and endorsements can be directed to the Michigan Department of Education or your educator preparation program.

Format

Computer-based test (CBT)
Subtest 1: Health Education: 80 multiple-choice questions
Subtest 2: Physical Education: 80 multiple-choice questions

Time

Subtest 1: Health Education: 2 hours total appointment time

15 minutes for CBT tutorial and nondisclosure agreement
1 hour 45 minutes testing time

Subtest 2: Physical Education: 2 hours total appointment time

15 minutes for CBT tutorial and nondisclosure agreement
1 hour 45 minutes testing time

By appointment year-round, Monday through Saturday (excluding some holidays)
